I have all the previous records and it`s soo good to get the old time feeling listening to this New one. All songs felt right at the first listening. I particularly like that so many songs focus upon Your husband/wife relationship and that the songs are so personal!
P.S. Last year I got Jon Langford making a portrait of JJ based on my favourite record:"A man must carry on" and also of D. Bromberg`s "Demon in disguise"(where I first heard "Mr. Bojangles" and a great story to og With it). These portraits are now side by side on the wall in my Music room that I Call "Little Austin"
I am so glad that you seem to have recovered so well from Your Health problems and I dearly hope to see you on Your Next birthday bash!

Hey, it's grand to hear Jerry Jeff singing his heart out on a great selection of songs. Good mix of originals and covers, and I especially enjoy Clark's My Favorite Picture of You despite having it on a compilation. Been a fan since the early (very) 70's, and I'm not disappointed with this addition to the collection.

This is an album full of heartfelt songs delivered in Jerry Jeff's unique style. He has always made the songs he sings his own whether he penned them or not. This CD is no different. I certainly hope he makes it up to the Mid Atlantic area sometime soon.

Love the new CD! Great love songs and more! Can't wait to hear some of these at Camp Belize 2019!

Been a fan since the 60's, and it's clear that Jerry Jeff hasn't lost a step in his ability to write brilliant melodies and marry them to brilliant words! And for what he's been through recently, he also sounds great! Come back to Wilmington, Delaware, Jerry Jeff!
Song writing genius

Nobody writes a love song better than JJW. He is at his best when he's "Layin' My Life on the Line" as he wrote a few years back. Having given up the bottle myself 2.5 years ago, these songs really hit home . And fortunately, I too still have a wonderful wife of 30+ years at my side as we enjoy this journey together with a bit more clarity.
Thank you Jerry Jeff and Keep on Keeping On

Man, there's just something about the way Jerry Jeff delivers a song. It's like the first time I ever saw him live back in '76. Seein' that grin and just rolling to the music. Nothin' else like it. Keep on playin' Jerry Jeff...and thanks for another great CD.

Gotta LOVE Jerry Jeff!! And, I DO, and ALL of his music!! LOVE the mellow tones and style he has delayed over the years. Never disappointed, no matter how long we "havta" wait! It's worth it!
Great songs from the heart

The love and deep feelings that were put into these songs that Jerry Jeff wrote is just breathtaking. His voice is still strong and beautiful. His love and appreciation for his wife shines through in these songs - well done! Thanks for sharing.
It's about time is right! Great album. Great songs.

It is as good as JJW gets. I listen to his "Live At Gruene Hall" a lot and love this album just as much.
